The Pylon Integrated Dispensing System Plus (PIDS+) and Electronic Combat Integrated Pylon System Plus (ECIPS+) installed on the F-16
I had to look it up, but PIDS sounds very useful.
For everyone who also didn’t know: it’s a missile detection system with three cameras in each pylon, so almost 360° coverage, and automatic flare/chaff dispensers.
I love seeing that crest on the tail.

It may be, but I’m kinda put off by the waste of lives and money spent on an industry that’s so despicable even a former general of the united states’ warned about.
All because deluded old men need more land to Lord over.
That being said I do still have a weak spot for the technology.
