Almost 10 years late to the party, I only recently discovered Band-Maid. I guess I had previously been conflating them in my head with Babymetal and thinking they were some gimmick band because of their outfits. Boy was I wrong!

As an instrumental, this track is an unusual one for them, since they have a dedicated vocalist too. But it was the first one I listened to and it immediately blew me away. It really shows off the technical and song writing prowess of the band.

And if there should be any remaining doubt that they’re the real deal, check out some of their live performances.
