speaking of, with darkreader loading your blog occasionally makes it go a bit wild. I haven’t tried to dig into it but you just made me remember about it
if/when it happens again, I’ll see if I can profile it to see what’s going on
so WP Dark Mode requires a bit of kludging and most themes are frankly slapdash, so it always requires kludging. I’m happy dark mode works as well as it does.

Excellent, but it needs another QA pass on mobile dark mode. Black hyperlinks and headings on dark gray backgrounds are unreadable. (Firefox on Android)
because i am super clever i forgot to install WP SuperCache and the server was promptly hugged to death by 1000 mastodon instances hitting it simultaneously to render a card for it
Dark Mode is comprehensively broken, i’ll dive in again to try to fix it in a bit - I suspect Blocksy Free is not quite all that as a theme. pity, it looks ok
I’ve been making use of wpcli for the small constellation of wp sites I have to deal with, primarily because it means I can actually do some semi-reasonable automation against the damn things (update checks, settings blocks, etc etc). Feel free to steal ideas for a script :D
