π to all the newcomers, let me know if you need any help getting settled in!
Joining the party as RIF kicks the bed :')
Second ever comment here. I watched Apollo shut down live, went to sleep and then immediately tried opening it up again after waking up, out of habit - girlfriends still asleep and I got so used to browsing Reddit for a bit before we get up on weekends, it has become muscle memory.
Using Wefwef currently and itβs nice, awesome work especially for a web app.
Iβm on Connect, I hope the UI gets better, Lemmy has a lot of potential but it needs work
Connect looks nice and is fast, but itβs really buggy too. But early days. In a month or two we should have a few more good options. Really looking forward to some great Reddit apps coming to Lemmy.
Connect dev here. Iβm getting those bugs ironed out! Iβm also a Reddit migrant and the app has only been live for about 9 days now.
Sorry, didnβt want to diss you there. This is crazy impressive for the short time frame.
All the apps are in early and rapid development and I am looking forward to what is going to happen in the months to come.
My point was only the (obviously unfair) comparison to Reddit apps that have years under their belts. But Lemmy apps will get there too.
Thank you for your work! Connect is the only Android app for lemmy that works on my EMUI/Nougat phone, so Iβm really grateful I stumbled upon it. Thunder, liftoff and the likes canβt connect, probably because of the old WebView version Iβm using - the newer ones sadly fuck with Midori Lite :(
Iβve just installed Connect earlier today and immensely enjoy it so far! Iβm looking forward to maybe some additional Themes; and donβt worry 'bout the bugs too much, Iβm sure youβve got the few main ones in your sights and will figure stuff out soon enough! :) β Keep up the good deeds!
oddly boost still works for me right now
π to everybody whoβs making this possible. Thereβs hoping that all the traffic can be managed
