It used to be Political Correctness when we insist that people who are not white straight christian men of means deserve equal rights and regard in our society. Before those terms came out the community was segregated enough by default and everyone went to some Christian church, even if it was liberal or new-agey.

So yeah, this isn’t our first rodeo.

It’s funny that, of course, conservatives would pick a term that literally means to not be asleep to pile on.

Euphemism treadmill can’t move fast enough on this one.

A good response:

“What do you mean by that?”

It will hopefully force them to shut the fuck up, or say what they actually mean.
