Although I have no proof, my intuition tells me that he purposefully says controversial things in order to remain in the news cycle. Heck, he may not even be the person that he pretends to be.

Does it matter if he says those things honestly, or cynically to stay in the news cycle? An “ironic” alt-right creep is still an alt-right creep. The response should also be the same regardless: ignore the dweeb.

People can believe whatever they want to believe about him. I’m more interested in what he does rather than what he says.

Since he’s not an engineer, but a manager, what he does is what he says. When he says workers are expected to work on weekends, that he will fire half of twitter because they don’t add value or that trans people are just sick, this has a real effect on people.

The Twitter fiasco is undeniable proof that he’s just an idiot. That much fuckup, commercial, takeover, company, and policy fuckup can’t be intentional or “to stay in the news”.
