I am not familiar with meat cheese, though the idea made me barf a bit.

I think only germans truly enjoy this culinary masterpiece https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leberkäse - the name seems to not be even translatable into other languages.

You have a point with coconut milk bit it’s such a niche product. I’m not living in the eu at them moment but would have no idea where to find it in my local supermarket.

In Germany you find it in basically any supermarket. Staple of my coocking for sure.

That is at best a dubious argument. There are unfortunately a lot of reasons for regulations outside pure need, this seems like a rather transparent move to score some points with more conservative voters while at the same time protect own meat industry. But sure if you have any research to back it up - I will gladly reconsider my opinion.
