Since our daughter is now more and more exploring the world and we like to let our balcony door open in summer we came across the idea of using a children safety door we had already laying around for our balcony. As the door opens to the inside, we could only mount it outside. Problem was the door was too small. 5mins in fusion360 and 5h printing later we now have the perfect solution. Used some rubber parts in between so it’s not gonna slide. Sits now perfectly strong. I am a little bit concerned the PLA will melt in direct sunlight in summer, but we will see…
I think it gets rotated because you took it with your phone and it added a “logical rotation” to the image file which Lemmy can’t handle correctly. (I’ve looked it up and it’s called EXIF orientation metadata.)
I’m sure there is an online tool you can use to convert the logical rotation to physical.
