No, they need to carry a firearm. When stopped by ICE:

  1. Tell them they only have authority on the US border or 100 miles from it.
  2. Tell them you have the right to be Constitutionally free from searches and seizures and do not consent.
  3. Treat ICE like an armed robber, murderer, or kidnapper, if they take you prisoner you are probably gone forever and not even the US Supreme court has authority to get them to release you or bring you back from where they take you … if you are armed, act appropriately.

ICE is made up of cowards and police wannabes, if the job gets to dangerous most will tap out and go back to yelling at 12 years olds on CoD Modern Warfare.

Pretty sure they count international airports as borders, so within 100 miles of them too.

They may try and count airports … but that isn’t how it’s actually written. In the end they are border agents and don’t need to be interacting with US citizens on a normal basis.
