At least you get like 22 1/2 hours of sunlight a day then though!

this sounds great until you realize it means it literally doesn’t get dark, for a month straight it is always bright enough that they don’t really even need to turn on the street lamps.

It sucks more than you think it would to not be able to see the night sky properly during the warmest months, all the astronomy up here has to be done when it’s cold 😭

The first two times I visited Stockholm from the US were the day after summer solstice and then the day before winter solstice. Got the full experience.
