Edit: Clearly the model doesnt matter. My mistake. Anyway…
So far its been running at about 38 fps for me with all settings on high. If 60 fps isnt that big of a deal to you like it isnt for me, I highly recommend it, its very pretty. I’m going to test how it runs with the new water and probably play it on ultra, just to see, depending on how things go on high.
There was some slight slow down during my playtime last night, but it was negligable. Otherwise, it still ran surprisingly well. I specified 500gb because i was under the impression each tier had different performance outputs and didnt want to speak for the other models, so my bad.
It’s crazy how this company turned a disaster into a success. They asked for patience to deliver on promises, provided transparency, then actually delivered.
So, so many companies should be taking notes.
Yeah, and in a weird way it makes me feel safer about buying future games from them. I know that no matter what state their future games launch in, that they’ll keep working on them until they’re good. If NMS had come out in better shape, I wouldn’t have that confidence that they’ll stand behind a failure until it’s fixed.
It’s even more incredible if you consider what they came from, Joe Danger, to a large game. Being a fan of Joe Danger I didn’t fall for the hype, as it seemed way too ambitious of a game. And then? It’s 8 years of free updates adding content even beyond what was initially promised.
Aside from the over promising at the beginning, or rushing the game launch depending on how you want to see it, it’s really great stuff. I cannot think of any other game starting as overwhelming negative, forcing Sony to work proper refund systems, to absolutely beloved by everyone.
