Israel’s military has bombed another United Nations-run school as well as an Israeli-designed “safe-zone” in the Gaza Strip, killing at least 42 Palestinians and wounding dozens of others, according to Palestinian officials.

The Israeli attacks on Tuesday hit the UN’s al-Razi school in the central Nuseirat refugee camp and a main street lined with market stalls in the southern al-Mawasi area, where thousands of displaced Palestinians had sought shelter.

Aren’t schools and hospitals supposed to be safe and protected… What about the Geneva convention? We throwing that out the window because it’s Isreal?

Not just that. Israel designated this as a safe zone and told civilians to flee here.

So Israel gathers Palestinian civilians in their concentration camp in a designated building, and then systematically slaughters them after telling them they are safe there…

They’re delousing stations, take no note of the conspicuous mass graves.

Yes. That’s what we’ve been doing for the last 75 years.

Seemingly not for much longer, though, what with the ICC arrest warrants and the US pretending harder than ever to be neutral.

To quote a dude who’s even older than the four most recent serious contenders for the US presidency, the times they are a-changing!

south africa and ireland are taking them to international court, but at the end of the day, it is the countries that actually have people/resources/power to enforce the court’s orders. And nobody is willing to invade Israel to bring them to justice (and bring their leadership to the courthouse). Almost all countries in the UN signed treaties promising they would enforce arrest orders, but when push comes to shove, nobody wants to be the one to do it. Israeli offivials can go visit their allies freely
