lemmy lets you select the language of your post, so it doesn’t spam people who don’t speak your language
Did you know that lemmy lets you select your own language(s) so you don’t have to see others if you’re not able to just tolerate it

Yes. Exactly like I have done so. It doesn’t magically detect a language. It requires the OP set the language in the first place. Exactly like my comment showed.
