Invite over people you think would add value. If they don’t come they have other priorities perhaps. Some subscribe to the notion that if you got the message, put down the phone. Yet others like to watch the world burn. I think the message has still enough detail and complexity that I can’t put the phone down, just yet.

Most people are insufficiently technical to understand federation. Nevermind to even know what an API is. Online engagement is constantly declining. Collapse is a fringe community on the fringe platform Lemmy. We could use a little more volume but only if that’s not a quality tradeoff.
