The Birds Papaya is getting her hair done today and then, that’s it, nothing else is happening. At all. I love this for her and hope it continues. She’s so incredibly vapid and the vocal fry is off the charts. She’s choosing to lean in hard on the skinny editing this week and then tosses in a cellulite pic just to ‘keep it real’. The damage she’s doing to women is incredible. This woman’s entire life is shopping, body-checking, getting her hair done and scrolling her phone. That’s it.

She’s sooooooooo boring. L shipped off to Nana’s I’m sure so she can sit getting her hair fried for the entire day. The most uninteresting person out there, how does she have followers.

Right. Always out spending money and doing nothing important. How is this relatable?

A later story shows L at home having her first swimming lesson and Sarah chose to get her hair done instead of being there for that milestone

Yet she’ll post stupid ramblings about treasuring the childhood moments, life speeds by, blah, blah, blah, toss in a teary photo, all for engagement, rather than actually live and experience those things.

The girl ain’t right.

And people think she’s mother of the year for some reason 🙄 imagine FaceTiming your kid during their first swim lesson because your hair was more important.

That made me so sad. I’d be so excited to watch that! What a privilege and she throws it away.

She’s so self absorbed. It’s cringe.

I don’t get how people worship this woman who does NOTHING of importance. Goes to Disney, flies to LA or NYC for nothing, goes shopping, gets beauty multiple treatments, hardly spends time with her kids. Wow groundbreaking, I admire her so much 🙄

To know so much about her life you must be a follower too… no? How else do you seem to know happens in all of her content? Maybe a community dedicated to discussing snark actually contributes to her success? More views, more comments, more SEO… negative publicity is rarely bad publicity.

This person :

  • thinks “consent is annoying” (regarding sex)
  • exploits her minor children
  • promotes brands that have been problematic
  • refuses to speak up about Palestine, Sudan, DRC or LGBTQIA2S rights because her family might be doxxed but she lets the public know where they are at all times.
  • promoted extreme dieting (how she became famous)
  • speaks without any background about mental health and diagnoses (improperly) in a way that could cause harm to others in mental health crisis
  • Films her child who has repeatedly asked to not be on social media, and then secretly post those things well not so secretly because she has millions of followers.
  • won’t speak about body autonomy

Some people do go onto snark pages because they are “jealous of fame” but others like myself, and many others on this page have primarily gravitated here because she’s been asked to use her platform to address issues that cause harm and she won’t.

I don’t follow her actually, I’ve been blocked by her.

And we have a snark for her because all her problematic ways need to be brought to light. She’s clearly threatened and feeling guilty as she got her original Reddit snark shutdown because there was so much evidence proving we’re right about her, she sent a cease and desist to a person in media who has been working to bring her lies to light. So while a snark may usually help their success, we believe the snark we’ve made for her is helping contribute to her being exposed for the fraud she is and so she can stop taking advantage of her followers which helps fund her extravagant lifestyle.

Also I’m sure you can block this page if you don’t understand why it’s here :)

Hello new Lemmy friends!

Word on the street tells us our community is regularly making it the all page. While this is very cool news to hear, we can see how the sudden emergence of our posts in your feed might feel jarring and probably raises some questions. And also how, without knowing the backstory, our community might appear less than virtuous, so here’s a very brief introduction which hopefully will clear a few things up.

The woman we’re discussing is a body positive influencer and media personality who has gained fame and wealth by lying, manipulating, exploiting her children for content, plagiarizing BIPOC creators and blaming her BIPOC content editor for it (thereby ruining her career), among other things. Her fraudulent behavior is no different (I’d argue worse) from the likes of Jay Shetty (google him if you don’t know who he is or what he did). She’s the latest in a long line of grifting influencers who are abusing their power, taking advantage of their position and exploiting their followers. The difference is that she’s Canadian. Our laws around social media and advertising aren’t as clear (and where they are she’s disobeyed them), add to that, our mainstream media has protected her from those who’ve tried to expose her grift and silenced/intimidated anyone who’s tried to speak out.

Our Reddit sub was taken down due to reports of copyright infringement, which is unfounded and categorically untrue as no one ever tried to steal her work and pass it off as their own. The mods have made an appeal. While at first glance it may seem like we’re just “shitting on her” the sub has been more devoted to investigation and posting proof of her lies than just bitching for the sake of bitching. The reality is that she’s hurt, manipulated and let down a lot of people. She stole intellectual property and employment, caused mental distress and has repeatedly told lies to boost engagement and profit off her audience, so people are understandably upset that their voices are being silenced.

We’re grateful to have been welcomed so kindly by so many of you, and to those sticking around to watch the drama unfold, we’re glad to have you!
