man I envy anyone who can take daytime naps. Idk what’s wrong with me but any time in my life that I’ve done it, I’ve woken up feeling extremely disoriented, anxious, and more tired than before.

Im the same, but I either just power through that feeling and know that I’ll be better than before the nap in a bit, or I just keep sleeping. Eventually I wake up and actually feel kinda refreshed, even if still sleepy in a cosy way. The latter is only when you have time to waste the day, so it’s pretty much reserved for when I’m sick. Also, somehow the waking up is easier and nicer if you nap together with someone.

It has to be less than 30min to avoid that. Not that I can manage personally either, I’m always too awake to fall asleep or if not then I’m exhausted and will definitely sleep more than 30min and also wake up disoriented etc.
