There’s plenty of blame to go around. One thing a politician needs to do is effectively sell themselves to the people who will be voting. Harris spent a lot of time selling herself to Republicans.

You don’t really have to take my word for it, there have been articles about her courting Republicans for weeks. You are free to disagree, but she very explicitly did do so. The article I linked in the comment you replied to gives specific examples, but your search engine of choice will find numerous articles listing the ways in which she did so, often with video. It’s not like it’s some tinfoil hat thing, it was her very obvious strategy.
