I am unable to find a community hosted on sh.itjust.works when I search for it from another instance. I know this is probably not a voyager issue, but I was wondering if anyone might be able to help.

Did you check if it’s defederated? Would be the first thing I do, that instance is a bit controversial.

In a browser, go to yourinstance.com/instances and navigate to “blocked instances” on the top.

Second thing to try is just link it here in the comments, with a leading !, such as !germany@lemmy.org - you should be able to follow the link in app and then subscribe from there.

Lastly, if it’s a very new community, it’s just a waiting game until your instance has synced up.

lemmus.org or sh.itjust.works is controversial? I have accounts on lemmy.world, sh.itjust.works, and lemmus.org. I made a community on sh.itjust.works but couldn’t find it from either of my other accounts.

I meant sh.itjust.works as controversial. But if the community is brand new, it might take a few days to federate properly.
