There is zero chance of Russia allowing western part of Ukraine join NATO. This is literally what the whole war was about.

I guess it will depend on who has more patience. Russia or the EU. I don’t think the US will support Ukraine for too long even if Harris wins. But I am not an analyst, I am just guessing.

Russia is winning the war militarily and they will dictate terms. The two options on the table will be WW3 or Ukraine breaks with the west. Also, Europe is in no position to do anything on their own. They don’t have the industrial capacity that comes anywhere close to Russia.
