I’ve totally lost track of American language on politics.
Does Liberal mean libertarian or socialist these days?

It means neoliberal capitalist, just like “conservative” does. Only difference is the racism and sexism. Libs think all humans are worthy of working in the salt mines. Cons thinks only white men should work in the mines while the women stay home and tell the non-whites what to clean next.
