No. The only problem with conscripted folks is torture, and it’s not as widespread as torture of Ukrainian combatants.

To me, at least, it seems like they were fired not as a punishment for Russia’s war crimes but because their Russian citizenship made them compromised - at least in the eyes of their employer. But for the sake of the argument I’m willing to go with your interpretation.
The article doesn’t say who these Russian employees voted for. And it doesn’t matter - I doubt ABBYY knew how each of them voted when deciding to fire them. The question of whether or not they were held accountable had nothing to do with how they voted - only with what Russia ended up doing and with the fact they had a Russian citizenship.
Not voting for Putin, even voting against him, did not help the employees that did so to avoid being fired. The only thing that would have done that was if Russia didn’t invade Ukraine (which would have also had the nice little bonus of not having about a million casualties and not making the lives of many times that number a living hell. But we don’t care about such trivialities. We only care about the virtue that gets signaled)
But no vote they’d have cast could change that. Because Russia is a one-party system - Putin gets elected no matter what.
The USA is a two-party system. Either the Democrats get elected, or the Republicans. A third option is not more realistic than someone defeating Putin in the Russian elections. An American voter that cares about being associated with war crimes (I’m not even talking about whether the war crimes will happen or not. Nobody cares about that - only about being liable to them) can not take comfort in voting for a losing candidate that did not contribute to any war crimes (and never had the chance to). They’ll still be associated with these war crimes simply for being American, just like these Russians are being associated with Putin’s action simply for being Russian.
If war crimes are the main issue you care about in these elections, then the only scenario when you should not vote Democrat is if you think the Republicans are going to do better on that front.

I guess I’m glad that the genocide that is being perpetrated on the Palestinian people (and has been for several decades) is finally getting attention, but I just wish it wasn’t like this; To be used as a political pawn by useful idiots and paid agents provocateur. I honestly don’t know why I continue to engage with people who simply refuse to understand the reality of the situation that we are in. Or at least pretend to not understand it. If you give a single shit about the lives of Palestinians (which I’m honestly skeptical about), you will vote for Harris. That is the only choice. Any choice besides that is a choice for a man who will “end” this genocide in the worst way possible. Do you understand what I mean by this? I’m saying that Trump winning means Netanyahu will carry out his “final solution to the Palestinian problem” unmolested. This is not an exaggeration.

That’s an empty talk. How many Palestinians have you helped? The undercover reality of war has taught me one thing: a lot of people do give a fuck, especially on social media; but in reality only a few would help to distribute blankets or medicine. No, I don’t care about Palestinians simply because there aren’t a lot of them in my area. Neither do you.
And the rage I feel is not towards Harris, if I were an American, I’d vote for her exactly because the predicament y’all have depicted. The rage is about infantilism in the world
I actually go out of my way to shop from Palestinian owned businesses and donate to Palestinian causes. Don’t question people like that, it’s not up to people to disclose private donation to a cause. It can also lead to persecution down the line. Lots of non-jews died in the Holocaust for helping Jews too.
Guess who will also commit war crimes? Conservatives. Guess who gets into office if too many people vote third party? Conservatives. Third party literally has 0 chance of winning this election. And if conservatives win, third party may very well never win any election ever. So you shouldn’t be voting for the change you want right now, you should be voting for the right to vote for the change you want to see tomorrow. It’s pretty simple.
