Lemmy doesn’t use Reddit’s spoiler syntax. You need to do:
::: spoiler [visible spoiler explanation text]
[Text to be hidden inside the spoiler]

But anyway, yeah. I had the same problem today, I knew the one you did and one other, but I even did some googling and decided that category must be wrong because I couldn’t find a third, let alone fourth. I just got purple by sheer dumb luck.
