There is no justification for any genocide.
The Violent Occupation and Apartheid has been going on for generations. The Oct 7th attack did not come out of nowhere, it is blowback from the generations of violence the IDF has subjected Palestinians to for decades.
There was one verified instance of rape on Oct 7th. Which is completely terrible and unacceptable, like the hundreds to thousands raped and tortured in Israeli Prisons.

The comparison was also made by a Palestinian poet who was later killed by an Israeli airstrike.
