Hal effect would be great but I don’t think they’ll do it they made so much money off of joycon sales

I think the rumor was about them attaching magnetically to the main unit, not that the joysticks would be Hall effect.

Do they? I thought they replace stick drift joycons for free. I guess it depends on how many people take advantage of that vs. buying a new set of controllers.
