The Fallen Angel (French: L’Ange déchu) is a painting by French artist Alexandre Cabanel. It was painted in 1847, when the artist was 24 years old, and depicts the Devil after his fall from Heaven. The painting is at the Musée Fabre in Montpellier.

Stupid sexy angel that tripped over a heavenly obstacle of never ever try to do anything good policy. What a dumb bird, prob a seagull.

(… actually that’s a good headcanon - seagulls are like lesser demons, geese are archangels, birbs of prey are smart tricksters, peacocks are the ‘do not be afraid’ manifestations, shoebills are polite crossroads demons, pigeons are lesser angles and cherubs that shit on everything, etc)
