Anecdotally, the reason I went third party that year was because the big two were so bad in my eyes that I thought third party had enough of a chance to go up a few percentage points, possibly receiving a little more recognition in the future.

Not win. But something that could lead to better elections in the future. I was wrong.

I don’t regret my vote though, since I had found someone to vote for, rather than against.
