I used to be really into (and good at) Xonotic back during my college years. That was many years ago back before it changed its name from Nexuiz to Xonotic, though.

Apparently the original owner of Nexuiz sold the rights to the name to Sony or something? So the community forked it and called it “Xonotic.” They also added some new features like vehicles soon thereafter.

Getting back up to my former level of skill in it would be a lot of work now-a-days.

My username always used to be “some asshole with a gun.” So when you died, it would say “you were fragged by some asshole with a gun.” When the novelty/cleverness of that name wore off, I shortened it to “Sawag.”

Anyway, great game. I love the grappling hook feature. Shout out to the Facing Worlds map on Xonotic.
