Do what you can because the kid said a double negative, meaning he can do something.

Depends on the dialect. For example in AAVE double negatives don’t negate (iirc).

It’s contextual, just like in all other forms of English.

The “no double negatives” rule is a fake standard that stuffy Romeaboos tried to tack on to the language, just like they did with not ending sentences with prepositions.

So the next time someone tries to correct a double negative, or tells you not to end a sentence with a preposition, call them a neofascist and punch them in the face.
