This “cooling off” period expires 14 days after the day you received your goods (or concluded a contract for services).

Other exemptions are found in the link as well. Think train tickets, groceries and digital content.

When you’re getting the actual money back could vary with online purchases, of course. Usually it’s the bank that is processing the transfer taking their sweet ass time and not the refund issuer, but I digress. Yay for consumer rights!
