Joey’s Delayed Reaction, also known as Scared Joey and Surprised Joey, refers to a memorable scene from the Friends television series in which character Joey Tribbiani widens his eyes as slowly realizes a key plot detail about his friends Ross Geller and Rachel Green.

As I already put the link in the other post I might as well put it here, the scene from episode 12. The “surprise” being that the wraith face mask is actually a part of their incubation sac they are born from. Much like if you slapped a piece of egg shell over a chicken’s face. Could’ve done a picture of a placenta over a person’s face but no one wants to see that including myself.

Thought it was a rather cool part of SGA lore for their equipment that only gets a couple seconds of an explainer after years of seeing them and no production facilities. Definitely would’ve loved to see the writing room on that day discussing the scene and how that came about lol.
