It’s time for album club #4! I went with something new this week, the debut album of Ukraine’s Death Pill. This album was released in February 2023. “From the classic punk of Black Flag, The Distillers and Circle Jerks, to modern outfits like Axe Rash and the thrash metal of Nervosa and Exodus, there’s a nod to all of this in Death Pill’s visceral sound. Full on and fully formed on their self-titled debut album.”

This post will stay pinned for 3 weeks, in order for anyone interested to leave their thoughts on the album. December 3rd will see the launch of Album Club #5.

There was an interview with this band in the German Ox Fanzine.

Might be interesting if you understand German. As you can probably guess a big part of the interview deals with the war.

One of the original, and currently largest, punk communities on Lemmy. The purpose of this place should be obvious from the title. Self promotion is ok, but spam is not, so keep it reasonable.

The goal is to help everyone find new tracks from around the world. Post new music, or your old favourites, but hopefully as you browse the group you’ll find something you haven’t heard before. Think more crate digging than top 40 streaming services.

Where possible please try to link to Bandcamp, so others can support the bands you love.
