Agreed. I use Lutris on 37, and play a bunch of stuff with no issues. Took me too long to figure out how to use the Lutris posts, but it’s been smooth sailing ever since.

I’ve played a bit of CoH Homecoming and Guild Wars 2 via Lutris, no issues. I know neither of those are particularly new games, but they run fine.

Specs are tricky with laptops. I have two laptops with very similar specs. Same CPU, same RAM, etc. The Dell… sucks. It just runs like a slug who is drunk and disinterested. The MSI goes like a cheetah on speed.

You can set it to t9 mode, so 1=a, 11=bb 111=C… Ouch! I don’t use it that way unless I’m feeling nostalgia for the 90’s.

I have some Loop Experience earplugs. I have them for migraine, and they are decently comfortable, and make things a bit more tolerable. I got them, and then saw that they have these new adjustable ones that let you set the filter level with a dial. Maybe them?

They are pricey though. Also, I ordered black ones and got shiny purple…

I have tinnitus and it sounds just like power supplies, except it comes from nowhere. So, when I hear the squeal, I turn my head. If the squeal noise follows the movement of my head, tinnitus. If it stays put, power supply!

I slipped on ice and cracked the side of my skull into the corner of a dumpster. I was out for…? It was the dead of winter. In Canada. -30. I couldn’t have been out more than a minute or two.

I was all kinds of messed up for months. I couldn’t control my arms right. My emotions went haywire. I had blinding headaches for weeks.

I still have nasty chronic headaches and memory loss. It happened more than ten years ago!
