I’m sorry this has happened to you. You’re not in the wrong for calling this out. People going through trauma from natural disasters don’t appreciate these types of movies, just like SA victims don’t like hearing that consent is annoying. This is why it’s important for content creators to give content warnings for serious issues (like natural disasters, discussing homicide etc) if they care about their followers.

Just buy from Aisle (periodaisle on IG) . They are awesome. They started the business in 1993 and were Luna pads back then. They’ve been in the business 30 years and can’t compete with companies like Kn*x but they are superior in every way. They’ve done incredible things and you can read about them at www.periodaisle.com . It’s a company that needs saving and deserves recognition for coming before its copycat companies.

Omg!!! I saw a bunch shoved in a deck box bin (I was buying bins/storage) in seasonal !!! I was looking in them to see if it (deck box) was watertight when I saw them. So this leads me to believe a fellow snarker lives where I live 😂 (or someone wants to store them for when they are marked down?) I left them where they were.

To be frank, if she spent more time focused on :

  1. Worrying about the bodies and mental health of women in Sudan, Ukraine, DRC and Palestine ,
  2. The body autonomy of women and trans kids being threatened around the world,
  3. Stopping partnerships with problematic brands that are anti body autonomy and misogynistic
  4. Recognizing her extreme privilege to have tattooed eyebrows, fake long blonde hair and procedures as upkeep (on top of two homes, $$$, white privilege) ,

Then maybe she’d stop caring about her vessel! Almost ALL of my friends bodies (who have had kids or not) look exactly like this at 40+. We are NOT out here focusing on our bodies, but we are actively calling out people like her who give us 40+ crowd a bad rep of being vapid consumers stuck in egotistical high school mentality. Also, my friends who work out, compete and train for things have super kickass physical bodies but they are OLDER! Nobody looks the same as they age. And maybe I just have a better family or friends who don’t talk about our bodies, and she’s stuck with an unsupportive spouse, family and friends who let her make this her “thing” but they really do need to tell her she’s fine, it’s a body, it’s nothing worth singling out, and that she could be more and know her worth without a focus on her vessel.

I don’t know where this is from but Gap had one for 19.99 with 50% off (so 10$) yesterday (my friend sent to me to talk shit about our mom’s horrible fashion memories from the 80s! ). Our vulvas deserve better in summer than too tight denim chafing!

That Dana person and Mik person do that too. Like, we know about sitting and standing and how it affects clothes. It’s boring. A great influencer called her out on this crap years ago she’s an Italian plus sized woman but I don’t follow any influencers so I forget her name.

Even gymnasts when they tilt their waist they get a crease. When I was 100LBS I had a roll when I sat. It’s skin. It’s genetics. It’s called “bodies are not marble statues”. We should celebrate what our bodies do for us (run races, fight cancer, protest, volunteer, carry our kids, care for sick loved ones, survive trauma) but holy crap can we stop with the whole “I’m a regular store size I have rolls”. Almost everyone her age does (I do), and it’s okay but it’s also very unimportant. I’ve never looked at my partner coworkers, clients or friends and thought “ew those jeans look awful when they sit” but I have felt pain from wearing jeans like hers and life’s too short to buy shitty clothes made in a sweatshop in too small of a size.

Stop buying fast fashion Sarah, and stop pushing affiliate codes on people to buy high rise “strigid” bullshit jeans that LOOK like they hurt! Even in person she’s not plus sized, and she can definitely buy bigger stuff or stuff that doesn’t squeeze, pinch or hurt her body. I wear yoga pants or leggings and comfy dresses, and if something doesn’t fit I get it tailored, take it in myself or give it to a friend. But when people say size up and she says the waist gaps, then WHY IS SHE PUSHING CODES FOR “amazing” JEANS THAT ARE BAD JEANS ALL THE TIME?

I think this is where the “the call is coming from inside the home” applies.
