To be more concrete: security keys can communicate over USB or NFC. Just make sure it supports the protocol you want to use it for.

But there is also passkeys which is both software- and hardware based and is almost equally secure.

I have a surface Go Gen1 and linux worked flawlessly on it. The bootup was tricky af though.

There is a tiny linux surface community that I created here on Lemmy, ask your questions there and I’ll be happy to help (while making the answers avaible to others In the same situation): https://lemmy.ml/c/surfacelinux

If you don’t mind clutter free, simple presentations, try hack.md or cryptpad. Both supports markdown styled presentations, both are FOSS cloud applications and the format of the presentation is highly portable.

If you want to get really ambitious, try marp framework for presentations - still markdown but on steroids.

Correct me if I’m wrong: if you’re a linux gamer then GOG doesn’t support your platform, no?

Are you an Iraqi in Iraq? I am an ex-iraqi but have lived in the Nordics majority of my life. People here don’t talk much about the country, but the few tourists that go there go to Erbil and only have good things to say about it.

Would love to hear your own experience too.

I use omnivore for longer articles and highlighting parts of the text. It also have a plugin to sync with obsidian. It’s really good, but I imagine self-hosting it can be tricky.

For a link-dump, I use Shiori. Could be anything vaguely interesting but I want to take a look later - works wonders for that.

And I have been a former pocket user, wallabag… But I stick with omnivore and Shiori.

Some are forced to use windows due to workplace requirements or software only running on windows. I run linux everywhere I can, but don’t always have the choice.
