Overpopulation is an incorrect translation for “Überfremdung”. It hurts to improve the translation of a German alt-right buzzword, but I’d rather translate it with “over-foreignization” (kudos to Chat GPT with helping).

For most mixed-gender public saunas in Finland though, bathing clothes are mandatory and nudity is prohibited. Also, nobody cares that much what you are wearing and you can wear your swimsuit to a single gender sauna, too, if it makes you feel comfortable.

This is quite opposite to Germany, where regular sauna goers might very well tell you that clothes are prohibited and that they “pose a hygiene problem”. I even heard people saying stuff like “This is a Finnish sauna, you don’t wear clothes here!” in a German mixed gender sauna. Well, the opposite is true for a mixed gender sauna in Finland 🤷🏼.

Edit: My experience is limited, so I guess I was wrong about wearing bathsuits to single-gender saunas. Thanks for pointing that out @kadotux@lemmings.world !

Wie kann Feddit dieses Problem fixen? Es wäre eine schönere Nutzererfahrung für Neulinge, wenn sie nicht ab ihrem zweiten Feddit-Besuch stets Fehlermeldungen bekommen.

Der @zlng_bot@feddit.de hier ist aber auch ein notorisch schlechter Bot. Da waren entsprechende Bots auf der Plattform, die nicht genannt werden darf, teils deutlich nützlicher.

Ich glaube, das Maimai ist eine Anspielung auf diesen Tupac?

Für mich ist es in Ordnung, sobald ein paar Tage vergangen sind. Okay, es ist tatsächlich nicht schwarz-weiß… bei Putin würde es mir schwer fallen, Häme nicht gutzuheißen.

Ich mochte es sehr auf /r/de, dass solche hämischen Kommentare gegenüber Verstorbenen strikt verboten waren und es auch entsprechend streng geahndet wurde. Das ständige Witzeln über Verstorbene hier auf !dach@feddit.de hat ein sehr unangenehmes Geschmäckle.
