I just had a conversation with a fellow systems engineer about DevOps and mentioned how I wanted to learn more about it. This roadmap is awesome, and oddly serendipitous given the timing.

I wanted to like it and I tried it over and over but I could not for the life of me get opensuse aeon or kalpa to work on my desktop when tumbleweed works perfectly. As soon as I installed the Nvidia drivers it went belly up and I couldn’t find help online.

I’m still new to Linux so I’ll accept that I need more experience but I can’t help but feel like a degree in computer science is a recommended prereq for this stuff since there just doesn’t seem to be solid documentation to get you through it.

That experience made me take microos off my server and put in proxmox instead.

I was just thinking about this and how weird and fucked up it is. Imagine a country where 13% of schools were owned and operated by the Flat Earth Society, and nobody questions it.

Unless they have Jesus there healing the sick just what the hell is the big idea? There must be some reason or history to it. Maybe they built hospitals where none were for the community?

After learning PowerShell and then moving to Linux and having to learn bash…I don’t get this sentiment. PS is the shit. I can make full GUI applications and automate all kinds of workflows. Their use of objects makes it so easy to extract data and utilize it. Bash feels so much more primitive and clumsy by comparison. What am I missing here?

Pfft, your depth of insight could be scratched off with a fingernail.

It’s every person and institution that shielded the voters from the reality of Biden’s mental decline who should be blamed. These enablers ought to be charged with crimes against the US for election interference.

We could have had a real primary and let voters decide, now we’re stuck with a convention nomination process that’s out of our hands.

Fuck the DNC.

I feel the exact same way. I’m not just sad about it, I’m absolutely livid. These militant ass-lickers beating you up for it are the worst kinds of people. They ruin politics by shutting down discourse and bullying others to think their way. Don’t listen to them.

You came to your conclusion honestly and it also happens to be correct. The DNC screwed us out of having a choice by closing the shutters and locking Biden away from us, letting him sweep each state in the primaries. If they instead allowed debates and let us see Joe as he is today up front we would have demanded new choices. Joe broke his promise of being a transitional president, and along with his enablers screwed us out of the chance to make the choice ourselves.

I won’t even hide it, I dislike Harris as much as I dislike Clinton. The only thing that could possibly sway me is an epic VP pick. Otherwise I’m going back to third party voting like I’ve done before Trump. I’m a registered Democrat but after all this BS I’m going independent. The DNC can rot for their crimes.

The Democrats need an effective communicator that really connects with people.

I’m excited for this ticket, not because I’m Minnesotan, but because the country desperately needs Waltz, on television, at least as much as MAGAs have been. His rational and relatable mind is a remedy to the years of maddening bullshit that have been blasting us lower and lower to the depths.

I was so jaded by the Democrats and their inability to escape their ivory tower of power and even attempt to relate to me, that I was firmly resolved to vote RFK this election.

Now they offer a glimmer of hope. Here’s hoping the tides are changing and they actually have conviction behind their normally hollow words. Biden has achieved some progressive agendas, and thankfully he released his grip to let others continue his surprising work.

I don’t see how that could be possible, but if you can explain I’ll keep an open mind.

He’s a Kennedy, I’m sure he’s been around a great number of people. But of all the interviews I’ve seen, both before and after his intention to run for president, I never heard him refer to those people as his friends. He had rational reasons for his relationship as far as Epstein goes. I don’t have any reason to believe he was a child rapist.

As far as the other two, all I can say is that famous people tend to talk to other famous people at parties. It doesn’t mean RFK approves of their behavior or character. If you have evidence of the contrary I’m all ears. Cherry picked sounds bytes don’t impress me so you don’t have to bother with that.

Also I’m not saying he’s the pinnacle of greatness. He only had to top Trump and Biden, and that’s not hard to do this election. There were other Democrats I would have gladly voted for but the DNC and Biden didn’t give me the chance.
