Isn’t it? Compared to sports, running or interval running it’s very little effort.

There’s got to be some psychological hack to this for some people, and I envy them. Imagine getting satisfaction from having gone to the gym just to walk… Gym is already a lazy form of workout even if you exert yourself.

Then again, the only people I see walking on treadmills are fairly in-shape young women, so it’s hardly an issue

No, but we probably sounded something like that way before there were neanderthals and modern humans though. At some point, somebody figured out how to tell their peers that they’re going to have to hunt for something big

They did speak weird though! Analysis of their airways suggest that they had a much higher-pitched voice than our kind, and probably had a harder time with consonants. So their language would have certainly been different. Although we have no way of knowing if parts of their language still lives on in our speech today.

Men visst, “talare” blir lite roligt på svenska

Right, so I seem to have gotten it wrong on his name. It was Neander (New Man in greek) rather than Neumann (New Man in german), but I should also have specified in the meme that the name means New Man.

I wonder if AOC would be a point of contention for swing voters though. She’s obviously great and very competent, but that has put a target on her back that has given her press that could be deterimental to a presidential candidate. Though I suppose that goes for all presidential candidates

Community blir väl på ren svenska “gemenskap”. Funkar rätt bra, tycker jag.

The ship designs are very central. You improve your ships with new gear, weapons and subsystems, but you also shape them to make sure they’ve got armour in the right places, that the guns have good firing arcs, and that they have important critical systems for what you need the ship to be able to do.

But it’s also important to make new ships when you need them. You’ll identify your needs and try to create a new ship that can fill that need.

The basis for your economy is mining and/or trade. You’ll need atleast one ship that can make you proper money, or mine the materials you need. So the focus is on multiple fronts. You don’t need to fight much if you don’t want to, but you will need to do some kind of business. That’ll probably be both mining and trading.

The most lovely thing about the game is that you can both control your ships in person, and control them on a strategic level. So if you get a (or a bunch of) mining ships, you can make sure they do their job while you’re off hunting pirates in your combat ship.

The focus is really where you want it to be. You decide! :)

edit: and to answer the question more succinctly; you can make money from combat missions and use that to buy whatever materials or other thing you need, but it’s probably hard to avoid mining completely.
