Please don’t forget that the vast majority of non-US people lead significantly sadder lives.

The two most populous countries in the world are China and India, in that order, and I haven’t heard many good things about the standard of living in either of them.

Truth. I mean, don’t get me wrong, I’d love to see a society where nobody lords over anybody, but I’m not crazy enough to think I can achieve that by burning everything down or putting a dictator in charge.

On the contrary, I consider a classless society to be the social Holy Grail that’s probably only achievable with Star Trek-tier technology. I’m sure it’ll happen eventually, but not today, and that’s okay.

I’m pretty heavily progressive myself, but you won’t see me complaining about Harris pulling people like Cheney into a coalition. That’s how you win.

You can be ideologically pure, or you can win, but you can’t do both.

Convince your fellow Americans to not be Nazi-curious any more. Only then can the Democrats shift left without getting annihilated.
