I can’t wait for the killing blow of when Harris is accused of being weird, hopefully by Trump himself, and she responds by saying of course she’s weird, everyone is a bit weird.

That’s the normal response to being accused of being weird. The weird response is to get defensive and start slinging school yard comebacks, because in the back of your mind you know your weird is using furniture to masturbate or to have sexual thoughts about your own children.

I want all people to use Lemmy.

I want us to stop the tribalism. What made reddit fail was the management, not the users.

Yes some people suck, and if you ask me it’s most people, but diversity is powerful and without it we have no future.

…and compare it with now the difference is almost imperceptible.

Imperceptible to you.

Your argument that phones without zoom lenses had, ‘decent digital zoom and stability (for a phone)’ only serves to highlight your inability to perceive the difference having actual optical zoom makes when zooming.

Crazy how one would even make this argument without actual image examples, unless that kind of research only led to realizing one’s argument is wrong.

Make sure you’re well hydrated (with water), eating healthy and regularly, getting regular exercise and have a good sleep schedule. If those are all solid, talk to your dentist about sleep apnea and if a sleep appliance might be right for you, as you may not be breathing well in your sleep.

The beginning of Link to the Past, with the rain, thunder and lightning. LttP took it to another level coming from NES games and even most PC games at the time, setting a mood and atmosphere I had never experienced in gaming before.

Basically, the US banking system is made up of many smaller banks, unlike most other countries where there are fewer, larger banks.

This coupled with a large land mass with high population makes it more difficult to make the expensive infrastructure upgrades necessary for modern banking innovations like tap to pay and the loss of the need for physical signatures.

Many of these innovations are only making it to the US now because of larger foreign banks entering the US market, as well as the plummeting costs of technology.

The fact no one has recreated this game mode in modern times boggles the mind.
