Bluesky is Decentralized, people are moving to Bluesky because it is easier to use and has better UI and UX. The reason people are moving to Bluesky and not mastodon has nothing to do with Decentralized, it is because it is simply user friendly. I used both and I think currently that Bluesky is definitely better. One of the biggest issues is the app, many users use their phones and The mastadon apps are awful in comparison to bluesky.

This is insanity, humanity is slowly losing its mind. They want AI for everything.

What do you mean enclosed system? There are I2P trackers.

tracker2.postman.i2p

It is harder to use than Tor though. Qbittorrent also supports I2P.

Come on 30 tabs is nothing, read the bug report. The guy in the bug report open about a 1000 in totals, I don’t even know how to keep up with that many tabs.

The problem is that qbitorrent doesn’t support DHT via I2P only trackers, you can clearly see the difference in peer numbers if you use I2PSnark. Officially it should work, but I couldn’t get any peers.

Yeah, Bluesky has both federation and ease of use, which is why many prefer it over Mastodon. Instead of making someone search for a server to join, Bluesky gives you a default server which makes it easier for less tech savvy users.

I remember reading about Gumroad it used to be mostly for NSFW art, but they did a Tumblr and banned it. Maybe this is related to the loss of revenue.

Edit: found the article

This is the mods profile: https://lemmy.world/u/postman.

As you can see he hasn’t logged in for a year.

The issue with Lemmy is that people don’t want to look for an instance to join, they prefer all the work done for them like Bluesky default instant, so I doubt anyone would move here. What’s funny is that the mods are approved by reddit and now new mods have taken over, there is a rumour that they are the same awful mods with alternate accounts. Reddit is truly awful, bots, propaganda, and a lot of power abuse.
