I believe it is the lying that little dude is concerned about…

Case in point: she might also be lying about those STDs that she “totally” checked for (like AIDS) and “definitely” does not have, wink.:-P

It reminds me of when Dems floated a Supreme Court Justice nominee who Repubs had previously pushed forth. Obstructionism is the point. 😡

BEFORE breakfast, not right AFTER? It looks like I need to adjust my strategy…

Or maybe it being Mezcal made the difference? :-P

Oh okay, I mean I was joking but… I do believe you are correct!:-)

Speaking of, it gives this old meme entirely new life!

Like, do you take shots before every breakfast…? :-P

Wouldn’t that be funny if like, someone splashed water (or coffee?) on their shirt and while changing it (and thus it was off), managed to survive the horror that killed everyone else?

And then did it again, and again, and again - until eventually they realized that it was literally a fundamental law in the universe that redshirts die, not just bc they are security and thus the first line of defense, but literally because they wear red shirts!?

TNG explored that thought I suppose, several times, especially with the Moriarty story arc.

I just love thinking about things like that :-P.

In the case of redshirts, it would be unethical to test the premise empirically though.

This right here - C++ iirc is used mostly for microprocessor code in an industry setting, where EXTENSIVE testing is done so that bloated code doesn’t need to constantly check for programmer errors every single time, i.e. where execution speed is prioritized over programmer development time. And whenever that is not the case, well, as OP pointed out, other higher-level languages also exist (implication: to choose from).
