I’m not sure why other Android OEMs are unable to fix this issue.

I have been using 3rd party launchers for 5 years now. I can’t stand the jerky animations. I always go back to using navigation buttons.

And now with the US antitrust ruling against Google, they are sure to ignore more of these small things.

Why don’t 3rd launchers not support native gestures yet? Why does Google refuse to fix that?

There’s nothing that explains it on its description page. Based on comments on its page (translated to English), my wild guess is: it’s making people laugh while reading news somehow by changing names of politicians in the news articles.
