Not gonna address the article but are Asimovs Three Laws as solid in practice as they are on paper? I mean to a layman they sound good and rely on stacking to the first law of “don’t hurt humans” but from a mechanical standpoint are they really as foolproof as they’re made out to be?

COLLEGE football teams! College football divisions! And whos going to the super bowl. Basketball. A sub for who’s going to make it to the final 5. Volleyball. Whatever big volleyball bullshit is. And then relevant WOMENS versions for all of these (no extra hate, just extra numbers) Baseball! Baseball teams history!
Then there’s leagues! Big10. The other big conference! Every coalition for Soccer. Conferences for Basketball. Divisions for hockey. Like holy shit! There’s more categories for sports than nsfw!
EDIT: I need to add that I did the math in another comment: there are (For a US citizen) 32 NFL teams and 113 College football teams. 32 Fifa Soccer teams. 29 US Mens soccer clubs (plus 3 Canadian). 12 More Women’s Soccer teams -only one league. 10 Formula 1drivers/teams. 8 womens volleyball teams. 30 mens baseball teams (29US 1 Canada). 32 teams in the NHL. and lastly, 30 NBA teams. In total this is 331 “Teams” and is the bare minimum before consulting each city will post about a game, individual players with followings, and broad subs like “MLB” is different from “Orioles” and results in more subs needed to block
If you buy this pixel from Verizon, and use it as trade in for, say, samsung phone via their website, how are you supposed to get Sim service switched? You don’t have Verizons phone (because you sent it to them), and your new phone doesn’t have service (because they sell you a blank unlocked phone), nor is it connected to Verizons towers. You’re going to be…expected to go to verizon? Use someone else’s phone?

They’re starting to obfuscate where each thing comes from now with the Cod HQ Launcher to play off the size of the games. As well as let you delete components like zombies and campaign to “save space” that they hoarded.
You can generate anything in-engine, it’s not representative of gameplay. Everyone does it and it’s equally shitty. It looks like a minute and a half of cutscenes and, other than character reveals it looks like a normal release. It just looks like smoothed out gta5, so like…gta5 on pc. The achievement wouldn’t be the graphics, it would be “can it maintain the graphics steadily and not drop frames”
Timeline is irrelevant, agreed. it will come out when it comes out.
It all looks great. That’s kinda the expectation tbh. It does look good, but all games “look good” at this stage. This gives rise to the other question about can it look good and be stable, even on lower end hardware (ps4/x1 and mid/low pcs) for release.
But a video is a video. I realize it’s so early and am not knocking it for lacking gameplay footage, just that generating a video in-engine is not representative of gameplay, or gameplay elements.
