Hello! I drink water.
For me, everyone else knew I was gay before I did. I want to say I finally figured it out when I was 14 or 15 and I met a guy in high school who I thought was really nice looking and quickly realised I actually just found him hot. Ironically a few years later after graduating I saw him on Grindr hahah but he was never particularly kind to me anyway so nothing actually came of that.
I think I probably would’ve figured out I was gay way earlier if it hadn’t been drilled into me by my parents at an early age that it was absolutely NOT ok to be gay and also I definitely wasn’t gay no matter what anyone else said. They knew as far back as that but to this day they won’t acknowledge it cause they got those hardcore republican anti-gay values and whatnot.
I have an absolutely insane amount of things running across two machines right now because I’m a moron. XD
But the ones that actually see a significant amount of usage are:
- Romm (Video game rom archive)
- Plex & Jellyfin (Movie and TV streaming)
- Komga (Book/Comic/Manga archive)
- Nextcloud (File/Cloud storage)
- Metube (YouTube downloader)
- Overseer/Sonarr/Radarr (Media Requests for Plex)
- PeerTube (Fedi YouTube)
- Pixelfed (Fedi Instagram)
- Mastodon (You all know what this is lol)
- Audiobookshelf (Audiobook archive)
- Immich (Photo backup and organization)
- Mealie (Recipe manager)
- Vikunja (To-do list app)
It’s so sad to hear that KDE died of figma.
(For real though I’m looking forward to seeing how this turns out, love Plasma a lot so hoping for the best from it)
I’ve never been to a naming convention but I have been to some comic conventions!

Except that one time. We don’t talk about that one time 😰
(For real though I’m glad they put so much thought into the UX with accents, this is an awesome addition to the DE)
I do! Here ya go fam- it’s part 47 of the ACA!
Fun fact- HIV PREP absolutely is free under the ACA, but nearly all insurance companies in the US actively defy regulation by making up ways not to cover it (which still aren’t in line with the law). Excuses like:
-We need you to use a specific medication -We’ll only cover it if you go to a specific pharmacy -It’s not on our formulary -We can only cover 60% -Oh but there are patient assistance programs! Why don’t you use those instead? We’ll help you get set up with one!
All of these are serious ACA violations and need to be treated as such. If your insurance does this, get in touch with your state’s department of insurance and file a complaint. I did this and had PREP for free within days after nearly a year of fighting.
