Yep just can’t stop once you start, but find it dad you get an end game while the fruits are still moving. I think I did ok as a first time.

What’s your budget? The Walmart ones might be all you need. Do you really need it to be Android TV? I have both Roku and Google TV clients. I like the Roku one, but not a fan of the closed ecosystem (can’t side load or adb).

You shouldn’t need anything crazy to play your media, but if you go with Google/Android please replace the default launcher. You will very happy then lol.

There is a video from Lance Hedrick for the aeropress on making old coffee taste passable. I know you can’t control the grind size, but try it out if you already have the aeropress handy.

I think 24 is just the next version as it seemed to go from 7.6 to 24.1

Edit: checked the wiki page, I guess 24 = 2024? https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/LibreOffice

Last time I checked the Synology office apps on Android didn’t work too well. Has that changed recently?

I’m hosting on a Synology, but not transcoding.

It’s likely more affordable to host a second jellyfin server on a desktop that is used for transcoding vs getting a NAS with the hardware.

As also mentioned you may not need to transcode unless you want to down mix to reduce bandwidth when not home. For those cases I would recommend you use handbrake and have multiple versions of the content at different resolutions/codecs as needed. Yeah it’s work.

The majority of issue I have when running locally is audio codec compatibility. So I use ffmpeg to reencode and remux my mkvs with the new audio stream. (Typically eAC3)

The pre 2 was the sweet version, but webos is all I ever wanted. 😭

I haven’t seen this, but I like that there are more options for whole bean in general at stores.
