I have been enjoying Watch Wes Work. He’s a guy running a repair shop in Illinois, he works on everything from tractors to Toyotas. Lots of dry fun comments about vehicles, the people who designed them, having to fix old things from Illinois which usually comes down to rust.

Speaking as an American - an electric kettle. Just a thing that plugs into the wall and boils water.

I use it for tea, of course, but I also use it any time I need boiling water for something, because it’s faster than a kettle sitting on the stove and it doesn’t use gas.

I remember the AOL disks not having the sliding tab, either it had been pried out or it was just a disk that didn’t have it.

I remember AOL on 3.5 floppies. You could put tape over a specific hole and re-use the disk.

Human embryos (and probably others) start out female, and grow the male parts a fee weeks later. There is probably someone lurking who can give better details but that’s the gist of it. Thats why men have nipples.

I think a lot of birds have more complex internal lives than people realize. I have chickens, amd all four of them have a distinct personality and feelings.

Baby formula, laundry detergent, and food I bet.

Inb4 someone claims that all of that being stolen is being used to make drugs somehow.

I used to work in a metal fab shop years ago. There were a couple of the guys on my shift who would drive to the bar down the road for lunch, drink as much hard liquor as they could in 25 minutes, and then come back to work. The ones who didn’t go to the bar instead stepped out back and smoked a joint.

It did leave the break room nice and quiet for me during lunch.

I’m a big fan of Satisfactory, but there are others I’ve been trying too.

Techtonica is an interesting premise, sort of “Satisfactory In A Cave”, and research produces a bulky waste product that you have to store somewhere, but digging out a large enough cave to get any kind of decent factory built takes forever. It’s still early access so stuff may change.

Except they do use the metric system, all their imperial units are defined by metric units.
