I don’t like the suppression of protests in Switzerland. They are allowed if they don’t disturb the city life too much, but if they do they get disbanded by police with illegal brutality and then prosecuted and judged harshly by judges who clearly want to achieve an atmosphere of fear.

So that’s both executive and judicative that take laws in their own hands to silence protests.

And then our political finance laws are just a joke, where it’s easy to donate anonymously to parties or lobby groups to overwhelm political counterparts.

Sure, we’re a direct democracy, but capital and the establishment has found ways to stay in control. Still better than most other countries, but I still find things to complain.

True. Maga hates the man. As soon as he’s no longer “under Trump’s guidance” he won’t be able to afford much.

Even if he isn’t going to run, why would he not try to sell such hats and t-shirts? It’s money in the bank.

There already has been a significant drop in tourists just in the last months. If things escalate, I bet your prediction becomes entirely true.

I still don’t think the argument has ripened fully in my head yet. I’m glad I read “The Game” in my 20s and not earlier and that nobody asked about my Insta in highschool. I had the chance to move and leave some social dynamics in the past with several fresh starts.

US immigration was unreasonably harsh and unforgiving before, but paired with the possibility to send people to a concentration camp without due process makes this fact a lot more scary. Yeah, they could get you in serious trouble for minor mistakes, but they couldn’t ruin or even take your life that easily before.

My great grandma got that one. It allowed her to be a bitch towards the Nazis, as they had to honor her.
