How do you boycott a company you already weren’t buying anything from?

Yesterday I got temporarily banned from a conservative community for calling them out for pearl clutching about This. Exact. Thing. I told them in a week we’d forget about this. They were peaceful protests. No deaths, no property damage, none of that would add to their message.

Ok, the ban might be for calling out the mod about his name calling but the dude’s a full blown fascist so I couldn’t care less.

The question isn’t “What will Elon do about this?” Rather, it’s “Who will Elon sue about this?”

You know exactly why. Because Ron and his high heels have made public schools a hot topic. The headline might as well read “Cretin who is obsessed with children’s genitals has been rejected over and over again.”

“We’re now forcing multi-billion dollar organizations to change their policies without even posting just from fear they have of being the next company that we expose,” [Robby Starbuck, a video streamer and right wing online activist,] wrote. “We are winning and one by one we WILL bring sanity back to corporate America.”

So it’s not because of any fault in the DEI program, it’s because of corporate terrorism from the right. Big surprise /s

They’ll say there are no wrong answers. They’ll say they discussed everybody’s answers/opinions. They’ll say a lot of things, and talk is cheap. This is THE epitome of BAD FAITH.

Something happened to Did You Know Gaming a year or two ago (don’t hold me to any exact moment) and they turned into proper journalists. Instead of collecting hearsay and rebroadcasting it, something they 100% used to do and they’ve since called themselves on it a time or two, they’re now paying for translations of old interviews and hunting down devs to interview themselves. Their dedication to game preservation is uplifting as well.

I really appreciate the work they’re doing.

Sites are rarely involved in picking what ads get displayed. I know there’s controls with your ad provider that let you say it’s a tech site or a cooking site and similar ads will be shown but that’s not enough control to stop somebody malicious. The FBI recommends ad blockers for safety, not because they find them annoying.
